As the Summer months pass by the COAST team have been busy engaging in a valuable opportunity to develop the COAST project. The bioregioning workshop called "Story of Place: Co-creating a Bioregional Macroscope” focuses on understanding global issues at a bioregional scale, and understanding the local dynamics of a bioregion in the context of global trends. The workshop is inherently interdisciplinary, and seeks to attract and bring together people from many fields, sectors, and professions, including governments, academia, business, and the arts. The COAST project partners Maria Wilke, Iceland and Michael O'Boyle of Mayo County Council are lead conveners for their respective areas. The workshop is being led by Glenn Page of SustainMetrix, Maine, USA.
